เพลงทั้งหมดในอัลบั้มแรกและอัลบั้มเดียวของพวกเขา Welcome to Condale (โปรดิวซ์โดยมือเบสวง Pulp สตีฟ แม็คคีย์) คือเรื่องราวชีวิตของตัวละครที่ถูกแต่งขึ้นมาให้อยู่ในเมืองแถบแคลิฟอร์เนียชื่อคอนเดล เรื่องราวนั้นพูดถึงงานพรอมในยุค 80s รักอกหัก ความรักแบบวินเทจ และทุกๆ อย่างที่เราชื่นชอบในหนังของจอห์น ฮิวส์ ส่วนดนตรีนั้นเป็นการผสมผสานที่ลงตัวของป๊อบใสๆและชิลล์เวฟ ฟังแล้วมีเสน่ห์ของเพลงย้อนยุคอ ยู่ไม่น้อย แต่ก็ทันสมัยและเหมาะสม ไม่ใช่เฉพาะเรื่องของกาลเวลา แต่เรื่องความชอบส่วนตัวของทั้ง SUPERSWEET และ Sretsis จนเราสามารถพูดได้เต็มปากว่า Summer Camp คือตัวเชื่อมของความเป็นจริงแบบเพ้อเจ้อและความฝันอันสวยงาม

The story of this project is quite a charmed one. Mid-2011, SUPERSWEET and Thailand’s top fashion house Sretsis decided to elope and collaborate on a Live Exhibition, the sisters suggested London-based Summer Camp as the headliners. We soon realised the band are hardly strangers, it’s Jeremy Warmsley – the solo artist we often write about – and his friend Elizabeth Sankey.

All the songs on Welcome to Condale (produced by Pulp’s bass player Steve Mackey), their one and only album to date is structured around fictional characters in a semi-fictional West Coast town, Condale. The storyline? 80s Prom nights, heartaches, vintage romance and all the things you love about John Hughes films. Their music is the perfect balance of delicious sunny pop mashed with chillwave. It does have that retro appeal yet somehow modern and totally relevant – not just in the timing sense but to SUPERSWEET and Sretsis personally. In other words, Summer Camp are that missing link where random reality and fantastical dream collide.

Asobi Seksu is an American dream pop band based in New York City. Their music draws influence from the shoegazing genre as well, and similarly uses a textured and effects-heavy vocal and guitar sound. The band consists of Yuki Chikudate (vocals, keyboards) and James Hanna (guitar, vocals).

Asobi Seksu’s songs have been featured in various television shows, including The L Word and the British television series Skins. The song “Layers” from Hush was also featured in an episode of Ugly Betty. Their non-album track “Stay Awake” was included on the Adult Swim compilation album Warm & Scratchy in May 2007. The band provided music for So Yong Kim’s 2007 film In Between Days and contributed an original score for Kim’s 2009 film Treeless Mountain. The song “Thursday” was featured in The Exploding Girl which was produced and edited by Kim and directed by her husband Bradley Rust Gray. Kim also directed the music video for the song.[5] “Thursday” was also used in LateRooms’ 2012 advert.[6] Their song “Ramen Girl” was the closing-credits song for the 2008 film The Ramen Girl.
